Default Free Mike C.

I think it is time for Mike C to be freed. He was banned for not staying on topic and telling people examples of real life dealings with the public. So as with Charlie at RedLine and now Mike C I must demand that they be set free.

Mr.Paul chairman of the Free Charlie and Mike C. movement. All contributions to this campaign will be spent by Mike C consuming his favorite glass of booze. i will take no profit from this endeavor.

He'll be free in a week. MC's used to it by now. He was warned and he kept going despite it. Not the first time and I'm sure not the last.

should have a ban camp foundation... each time your are sidelined you should have the option to pay to get out.. Kinda like bail if you will. That money goes toward something good.. like when someone gets screwed out of an item on the site.. or bad beats on craigs list... or at the end of the year it goes to a voted by members charity. Just an idea.
cough cough I would need at least 10% of said fund for the idea

make the fee or "bail" progressive.. first time 10$ second time 15$ third time 20$ for our forth time (per year) offenders the price goes up to 25$ fifth time 50$ ect.. Make it go up and up and up and eventually they would get the iron boot for good

Open up a ban camp forum with one thread that shows how much money is there and have another thread that has charties to vote for. Pretty simple...
Member could "bail" their buddies out of ban camp.. It would turn a negitive into a positive.

Free Mike C. He took a beating that was meant for someone else because he believed in that man.

He stood in the line of the mob and stood up to them.

Its a good idea but release by bail would need to be voted on or polled by other forum members and require a certain number of votes. There are a few banned that nobody wants back.

no the only vote would be where the money goes at the end of the year.. Those that are gone are godfathered OUT if you will. I am talking about the regulars that get the boot for a day or even a week through out the year for comments..

Sever violations would not be up for bail.. they would get the iron boot. In Mike C's case he just went off topic a tad and got hammered. Thus bail would be justified in his situation.
Its just an off the cuff idea, with pleanty of room to tweak.
The idea is to raise money for the minor stuff. Who determines minor VS major would be the Mod gods.
Would kinda be like a "swear jar" if you cuss you put in a buck.. if you cuss your boss out you get fired.

I see what yer saying... if someone is a real A hole and gets BOOTED vs time out then they stay booted period. Time out is no big deal, getting booted for major violations is another story that would not fall into this idea.

Kinda like the shit head that was coming on under different names for a few weeks causing all kinda of crap with his marlings ect.. yeah he would not fall under the ban camp fund.. he would fall under the firing squad fund. We all pay to get him in front of some .223 or 50 cals hehe

i agree
ley him stay there

i'm allways amazed by him,a guy so busy,so overworked, knows everyone in the boat biz, knows all things marine - he has alot of time to waste on the computer...
he shoulda been a politician - he's got the gift of BS - typical salesman...
a gentleman who's quite "full of himself",he believes everything is about him and can be solved by him and him alone - and i thought obama was bad - wow !
ol' mike carrigan,i'll bet people bought stuff from him, just so they could get away from him -the people probably walked away, ears bleeding from listening to his constant dribble...

That was Mike C's third time at least for the same violation. He's a big boy just doesn't know when to shut up. He even ignored a PM warning which everyone is given before getting banned. I've been banned once for calling someone an idiot, besides the point if it was deserved or not

I once felt the same way, but after seeing how many people he tried to help with Proline problems, and questions when he no longer represented Proline is admirable. I don't read his long paragraphs, but from what I have seen he always acts like a gentlemen. I say free Mike C he has more class than many here.
