Default Laughed my arse off at hair cutting today

My buddy Rick was cutting my hair today, and no hes not gay, took his boys age 8 and 10 to their first gun show. Spent the day on safety classes, hooked them up with all the gear and a couple of brand new pellet guns. They get home and of course the boys are stoked. They want to shoot their new guns before mom gets home. Dad clears the rest of the afternoon to explain the importance of safety as was taught at the show.

The boys suit up, Safety glasses check. Guns loaded check, the boys take a few shots all is good. Ok guys put the guns down for a bit, ok dad. Dad goes to walk away and feels two stings in his back. U guessed it after all the safety classes, gear etc the boys decide dad is Bin Laden and decide to take him out. Needless to say if any one is looking for two low hour pellet guns with all the gear in sw florida i gotta deal for you.

And what about getting a hair cut would make him homosexual (I don't understand gay)?

The haircut part is actually kind of funny. You could have left that whole part out and never had to explain anything about your sexual tendencies.

The rest of the story though. His kids might need to feel what it's like to get hit. Seriously, let them wear jeans and hit those bastards with a red Ryder from about 30 feet! They need to feel that. That is just unacceptable gun handling....not joking here.

Short of breaking maybe 50 laws that are now on the books, this advice is the best ever for providing a kid with long-term appreciation of what a gun can do...and why not to play with one..

When my sons were 7 or 8, I started them on a .22 target rifle when we were up at the lake. Lots of gun safety, and the oldest got it. The youngest, not so much. He didn't see the harm in shooting, because all he saw it doing was pushing some dirt around on the berm.

Even the cans filled with water didn't give him a appreciation for the destructive affects of a bullet.

....so, you guessed it. We got one of his favorite toys and proceeded to shoot it to bits. He got the message; guns are tools that can hurt things.

P.S. ALL of his toys were his "favorites", so he never lost a minute's sleep over that one.

That was my Dad's approach. "You boys want a pellet gun? Want a .22? You can have one when you turn 21".

That gives kids Zero opportunity to be trained the right way.

After my uncle (Sam) gave me a lot of training, I got into guns big-time.

Its OK that you have feelings for your friend....Personally, I dont have THAT kind of relationship with my friends but you obviously have a different lifestyle.

My post has absolutely nothing to do about gays, I thought the tough tht crowd would point out no guy should be cutting hair. I simply repeated a story told to me about a very proud 52 year old dad with two little kids.
I have no kids but thought the story was funny as hell. Some here really need to lighten up.

So what your now saying is that every male THT'er has long hair because we're too much man to cut it?

You should quit while your behind.
