Default Advice wanted: Billfish trip to Central America

Hi Guys-

I am looking for some "been there, done that" advise... Myself and two coworkers are looking to book a trip to a billfish hotspot, Costa Rica, Panama, Cabo, somewhere. We like the idea of a lodge where the food, lodging and fishing all take place in one spot. Personally, my pick is the Tropic Star Lodge in late February, but there are some other spots that look really nice too.

Where have some of you gone and have you had a good experience or not so good, what might you do differently? I sure would appreciate any feedback you can provide!!!!

My son has been working at the Tropic Star as a mate the past several months. The fish stories are amazing. You can see a picture and a video of a 1,200 lb Black Marlin that he is satellite tagging in Feb., 05 by going to marlinmag.com.
