So we are in the middle of landscaping our new house and getting pavers put down by therear entrance way and i was think of doing a marlin type outline in the pavers or tuna. Has anyone done or seen something like this?

That would be cool as hell...

Pictures when you get them...

I've seen some pretty cool things done in concrete, but not pavers....

How big?

I think it would very expensive to make in colored pavers. (Lots of diamond cutting).

An alternative might be to find someone who could outline a fish by diamond cutting only 1/4" into the set pavers. Was that what you were thinking?

Hanover Pavers in MD, will do any pattern with their laser cutting machine. Do not put polished marble on an outside surface you'll have lots of lawsuts. BTW we did a project in Miami for a condo that we cut in dolphins and waves, it came out really cool and won some awards. If you want it done locally, I would build a template and maybe try a granite guy. Just don't make the cuts to skinny. I would also thinset the design down versus sandset to avoid cracking.

Look on Houzz.com
If you have an ipad, download the app and it will make it easier. You can search "Fish in pavers" and some should come up. Houzz is an awesome design inspiration site! I have turned clients (wives) onto this site and just about every husband has said to me, "Rob, you my friend have created a monster!"

Tireless, thanks for your WOW.
I've just started making these pavers. The picture shows a 24" square. The pattern increments by 16" so 40", 56" etc. I could send you a PDF that shows these layouts but it's too big for this thread,
A previous version was selling for $9.00 each. I'll start these at that price and see how it goes. (what does PM mean?)
I'm in Alberta, where are you?

PM means private message. It's a forum function which allows members to communicate in private.
