Default Man gets hit by lightning for the 3rd time

Severe weather brings bad luck for one North Carolina man who says he’s been struck by lightning three times — twice on the same street.

Bob Edwards of Charlotte, N.C., was leaving the Steel Creek Cafe Monday afternoon and walking through the parking lot to his truck when the skies turned gray and lightning struck.

I think there are twice as many myths about lightning as there are facts. So, let me add some facts (or myths). Getting hit by lightning once, makes it statically more likely that you will get hit again, and not just because of where you happen to live. Myth/fact two, people who get struck multiple times have a high incident of suicide. Something about felling like God or the universe is out to get you makes them crack.

Oh, and if on a golf course during a storm, just hold a one iron over your head. Because not even God can hit a one iron.
