Default Spanked a GTR

Got my car out of shop Tuesday and took it to the track and put a beat down on a foreign jobby! Got to admit those little Nissans are quick. Still bad when a 20 yo v-6 whoops an
80k car

The Nissan GT-R holds one of the fastest production car Ring records. And you're happy you beat it in a straight line. Your missing the point!

Would enjoy hearing what you have done to that V-6 and you know this thread is worthless without photos of your car!!!.
Anything can fly with boost, so you enjoyed posting and we'd enjoy hearing about it and seeing the pictures.

the drag race mentality will never appreciate cars that can hang on the ring.....

Sorry guys it was late and was wore out. I definately do appreciate all forms of cars and racing. Anything with motors im a fan of. Ibuy toys like crazy. Was not downing the Nissan at all. They are very quick and very impressive. My car is built for just cruising around town not racing. But did want to try it out. Its an 86 Buick GN and everyone knows it can not corner its a brick. The GTR ran an 11.20 @130mph. My car ran a 10.80 @ 128mph.I need to learn how to launch the thing. Until i get use to it we have it on low boost 24lbs which i might keep it there cause it has plenty of power for me but we will see. It dynoed at 610 hp.

You do realize you are bragging about sucker punching a retard right? I mean you have a nice car and its faster than anything I own at the current moment but take your car to a road course and run that gtr again and get back to me. That car was not designed to go to the drag strip. But yeah.....if I get the urge to go in a straight line I would be happy to own a car like yours.

Ok here we go. I wasnt bragging i was pretty stoked it did so well for me not running it before and not being a "drag racer' I was excited plain and simple. The GTR is a fast car with crazy advanced technology compaired to my tank so it was neat. The GTR is an affordable 'supper car' so once again it exciting to see mine drive in a straight line faster.

If i knew this was gonna be a well try this blah blah blah and get back to me thread i wouldnt have posted.

I dont bash anyones cars or boats. Everyone works hard for there toys like i do and im proud of my toys.

Yes there are bigger and badder boats and cars out there.

Depending on what year the GT-R is, your custom GN has a 80-140 HP advantage. You should be able tobeat him by a tenth.

Did he beat you off the line and you had to run him down?

I mean with your post it seems like you were surprised that your car beat that gtr in a drag race. I mean ....as stated you have 100+ hp on it and with street slicks and yourGN is a car that's designed to go in a straight line VS a car that has none of the above.... I could have told you that your car was going to beat him even before you raced it.... and you could have saved the gas. But I guess you are looking for a congratulations...........which I'll give ya

That GTR with it's 4 wheel drive system is crazy quick off the line. Hell, they have a specific launch mode. One of the fastest 0-60 out there.

The GTR was announced to be the fastest stock turbo GTR it had a lot of other stuff but not sure what. Not sure if it was a bad run for it. My first run was a 12.50 off trans brake
2nd was an 11.30 off foot brake then 10.80 off trans brake. He could have been doing same thing getting better. We lined up again and i think my alternator is bad cause trans brake kept kicking in and out so i just went and another car ended up racing him. A friend taped them so i will try and get video.

Stock for stock a GTR would put a beat down on your GN. A built GTR would put a beat down on your GN. Comparing a built against a stock car is like comparing apples and oranges. Nice run though.

Where's Homey?
