Well I think there is no one size fits all tackle box. I would love to see a tackle box designed for blue water fishermen, one that had an easy way to store leaders and lures pre-rigged. you can never seem to get them back neatly. Something maybe removable like spools that you could rinse off all your rigs on the dock let it dry well and reinsert into box. If its going to be a big box, bottom heavy, retractable wheels and a non skid bottom so it does not fly around the boat. But this might be very impractical for Bass fishermen, so their needs would be so different.

I agree with Ole Guide..

I wouldn't waste my money on this idea... Invest in something else or save the money.

But, if you are determined and have specifics and want something drawn up..

I could possibly help with that.

I am going to quit my day job and focus solely on making the best tackle box ever. I have owned lots of tackle boxes and none seem to do the job. They won't hold enough lures, won't seal tight enough, no beerholders The pad is insuffecient so I am now going to embark on this journey to build the best tackle box ever.

Now I know, I know, I don't have an aerospace engineering degree. Or a degree from MIT. Or any degree for that matter. But I do have a high school diploma and my president said I couldn't do this by myself so I figure I would get you guys to help me. You know, kinda like a community organization effort

1. If you could build your tacklebox of the future what would you include? Cupholders? Fishing line holsters? A place to stash a couple of girlie magazines? Perhaps a toilet paper holster Just let me know. The sky is the limit as we have a practically unlimited budget as I will apply to the federal government for some more funds.

2. Does anyone here know how to work a CAD program. One thing I don't understand is why tackle boxes are so poorly laid out. I mean who is designing these things. I bet it is someone in California with one of those medical dope cards I know if I can get somebody with experience with CAD I can make a better box.

3. Does anyone here know anything about thermoplastic infusion? Or who makes the machines that build these things? I took a carpenter class in high school that was pretty thorough. I think I can use what I learned then to build the new box.

4.Does anyone here know the number to Walmart office in Rogers, Arkansas so I can sell them this design. I just know with the right community help, and the proper teaching from teachers, and good roads I too can make millions and make the best tackle box EVER

5. Does anyone here have anymore beer?

I guess not everybody gets it......

Forget about building one, I already built it and I'll sell it to you for something in the low 4 figures. Let's talk mass production and residuals.

As long as it fits in my rav 4 I would order one.

Make it portable with wheels also

Can you maybe make this box super charged? With nos?
