Default Any WAZERS here?

WAZE is a smart phone and iPad app for drivers. Maps, traffic, police, accidents, tie-ups and more. Google WAZE and see if you like it enough to download it (free) and use it. Works best if there's a passenger in the car. Saved me a lot of time and avoided traffic on my NJ - FL round trip drive. I set up a WAZE group named "the Hull Truth" for anyone who wants it.

Every day...but was ready to give up a few weeks ago after an update. just wouldn't work at all. They finally updated again and all is back to normal. I use for traffic on my commute home, great for speed traps.

I use it on my android phone. I had a few lockups early on but it seems to be better. It's saved me hours on construction backups, plus nice to get a heads up about police sitting along the way.

Is anybody besides me fed up with all this "technology" which doesn't work?

Yep. Best in areas where there are a lot of users. Always nice to know where the police are hiding too.

Yep. been using it for over a year. The GPS function isn't all that great, it will run you around your ass sometimes, but the traffic and alert functions are incredible for a free app. Extremely accurate on upcoming hazards and such. One of my favorite apps

The GPS can be pretty stupid, so don't use it as a navigation route picker unless you have a good idea of how to get someplace. It WILL plot several different routes at the same time, so you can pick one. But yes, as a traffic/cop/hazard spotter, it can't be beat. It's supposed to "learn" but, after maybe a hundred trips home, it still thinks I live on the next street over, simply because my garage is closer to it than the one my driveway is on (but then, who cares? I already know how to get home). You can input data by voice while you're driving, so NO TEXTING needed.

I have been using it for some time and turn it on every time I am in the car. I agree that the GPS function kind of sucks. I use it mainly to spot coppers and accidents. Plus I like to be able to warn others about speed traps. It has saved me multiple times from getting tickets.

I am soo important I have been given Waze Royalty status.......

I only got a sword.

P.S., I think the app is a bit of a battery eater, so keep your phone or iPad plugged in if you're going to be taking a long drive.

Interesting, just down loaded it. Will have to see how many people locally use it.

If you use it on an iPad, you need to have cell service turned on. If you only have WiFi, it wont show you user supplied data (only GPS will work) All smart phones work. I love it, although it's probably the worst route picker I've ever used.
