Default 12 volt recreational compressors

Need to pick up a 12 volt compressor to air up after a run on the beach. spent $100 on Slime brand (their top of the line) and the POS kicks it thermal break every tire.

I'm not looking for other ideas, converted AC compressors, dive tanks, air storage systems, etc... I want a simple 12 volt compressor. Looking to spend under $250 (less if possible). Use it maybe 9 to 12 times a season.

Anyone have any recomendations based on experience.

How about a good regular air pump like this Craftsman - http://www.sears.com/craftsman-120v-...p-02875118000P - plus an inverter. Should be less than $150.

I have that pump and it does a good job on pumping up tires, plus it isn't too loud.

Get a Puma.

Tons of offroad guys swear by these. I have read in some reviews that they have enough power to knock lug nuts off with an impact on a full tank.
