Question Diamondite glass repair system -- Glass Scratch Repair?

Okay here's the dirt,,,, I have some minor scratches in the rear quarter side light on my car. Scratches came from 220 grit sand paper (don't ask). They can be felt a bit with a fingernail but very fine.

I've read that if the scratch can be felt with a fingernail it can't be repaired. This product claimes to be for minor to moderate scratches in glass. So I was curious if anyone has tried this product with any success.

I am trying to figure if I should give it a try or if I am screwed and need to replace.

I use it regularly here in Baton Rouge for water spots that cant be removed by regular methods. This is a great product in my opinion.

Can it be used to remove scratches on my windshield caused by metal, the kid took a shovel to the car in a snow storm!

My scratch is a little deeper than a hard water spot. I believe the "repair system" comes with 2 different compounds, 1 to remove the scratch and the other to polish it. There's a you tube video showing how to use it. I just can't find anyone that's actually used the stuff to remove a damn scratch.
