Default Mooring a windy day

The immaculate new yacht "Jessy" trying to find a place in the port for the first time...

Not easy in a windy day

I would have dropped anchor out in the water and waited it out.

One advantage to having an 18' boat, I'd have been at the dock and up 2 cold ones on him.!

Looks like fun.

And this is just one mans opinion, but that is up there in the "ugliest boats in the world" category.

seriously... wait till the current wasn't so bad, or the wind died down..what's the big rush? He had a tender .. take that in if you need to be on land so bad...

My ass would have just kept the party right on the boat on the water.

Agreed. For all we know the boat owner was sitting on the deck insisting that he find a way into that spot without further delay. At first I thought he was going into the big space port side of the last boat and I couldn't figure out what was taking so long. I didn't even realize that was another space between the 2 other boats. Definitely a stressful situation.

why did he not drop anchor before he got fully backed? The other have 2 and 3 out and he has none.

I too thought he was aiming for the large open slot.
