Default Sangria

Seems alot of the local restaurants have been serving up Sangria lately. I've come to enjoy the taste and wouldn't mind trying to mix up a bottle for home use when I'm on vacation next week. Does anyone have a simple recipe for some good sangria?

I don't know if this qualifies as a "real" recipt' but I take my favorite red wine, drop in a bunch of fruit I like, mix/stir and serve.

Somehow I'm sure it's wrong but hell if it ain't right.

Food network. Look up old recipes with Bobby Flay.

If you dont feel like "making" your own, It's not hard to find by the bottle (or box!) you just have to look for it... Toss in some fruit if you like.

While I appreciate the thoughtful and heartfelt response, I'm pretty sure "panties" are not a key ingredient of true sangria.

If you make a pitcher of it, on top of that add a few sticks of Cinnamon, a 1/2 glass of Orange juice,
a seven up or Ginger Ale.

The perfect wine to make sangria is the cheap wine they sell at the liquor store by the gallon.

Some Orange slices, Apples, Lemon or Lime and peeled or sliced grapes in half.

The cheappest and darkest the wine, better the Sangria, what gives it the flavour is the fruit and the Cinnamon...
If you add fruit and orange juice, no need to add sugar, just let it sit for 2 to 3 hours and add the seven up when ready to serve.

Fidsters got it. Plus serve up some bud platinum to enhance the hangovers.

Add the cheapest brandy to the cheapest red wine, top with fruit and serve ice cold spiked with ginger ale or 7UP. Women lap it up.

You/they will have a hangover the next morning.

Not an ingredient.

Just mandatory for those who drink it.

Quick and EZ- I use a big bottle of Yago Sangria as a base, add half a bottle of dry red wine- cabernet or Zin, 2-3 oranges sliced up, 1 orange squeezed, a few shots of vodka for some extra zing.

Step 1) go buy bottle of wine
2) buy fruit
3) buy duct tape
4) tape penis and balls back between legs.
5) mix fruit and wine and feel like a pretty woman
6) go see sex and the city, or Magic Mike with your friends.
