Default FL Nature Coast-Anyone have a scallop report?

Anyone hear anything? Someone said something about Debby stirring up BP oil spill and killing them off, but that sounds like BS to me.

I got an easy limit this last weekend. Maybe luck, but it was the best I've seen.

It's BS.... I loaded up.... Also, I've never seen a drop of oil in the water anywhere near here.

They are there. We had a hard time finding them at first in Steinhatchee. Depends on where you are going out of.

Was that anywhere near Hernando/Citrus counties? The other 2 are a bit north, but good news nonetheless! The last 2 years have been real good.

Is it worth it at the end of the season or are all the spots picked clean?

Thanks. We've been wanting to try it for years, just never seems to work out. Maybe this year in September.

Same here, I`ve got no choice but to wait till September. I have to wait for my rental season to end. Last year there were plenty in the last few weeks of the season.
