That is a reck you would not want your seat belt on. That's why I won't wear mine.

Upon closer look, the driver's "compartment" area was maintained and not impinged by the poles. I can think of very, very few instances where it's a good idea not to wear seatbelts. They have saved my life or prevented serious injury on at least two occassions.

Even if you were the passenger I doubt there would be time to duck out of the way.
