Default Kipor vs Honda

Okay, here's the question--after a breif explanation. I have a Shamrock 260 Express and have a Cruise n Carry hatch AC unit at 9,000 BTU. It gets pretty hot here in Alabama so I'm searching for a compact generator. I want something reliable, that will handle the AC unit and is quiet. Of course, the Honda EU2000i is a good choice and can be bought for $879 delivered. However, I've been seeing more of the Kipor/Sinemaster generators advertised. They are Chinese, but Phillips Electronics is behind them. I've heard that they are pretty good and the Sinemaster series provides a true sine wave output. The 3000 watt madel can be bought for less than the 2000 watt Honda. My question is: does anyone out there have any long term personal experience with these Kipor or Sinemaster units? ;? Thanks for any help

It would have to be a LOT less than the Honda for me to even consider it. Like about $500 less.

I have never heard anything but high praise for the Honda and the Yamaha DC/generator/Inverters

Id go for the Honda

Ive had a EU20001 for a few years now. I use it for my light and generator for night fishing here on the texas coast. Its Awesome, its quite and it uses very little gas/ Even has an econothrottle on it. I can power a 1500w light for 4 hours on 1 gallon of gas.

spend the money, go for the honda

Thanks for the replies guys. I'm always one to try new technology for less $$$, but I have had Honda equipment in the past and was always happy. I can get the eu2000i for $879 dleivered from many sources, which seems to be a good price. Tight lines
