Even though someone brought up a year-old thread.

For the police officers onboard, would you ever go or be asigned to go lurking around window to window by yourself at an apartment complex at night? I could see patroling the parking lot. Especially if there was a disturbance call or soemthing more serious. Window to window by yourself in the dark though?

I'm sure the OP lives in a nice apartment since he is on a boating and fishing site. If he lived in Hidden Valley or over on the East side in MS 13 territory I bet one cop wouldn't be lurking around by himself. I think the cop is a peeping tom too. Who is he going to convict if he discovered something and made an arrest while on his "scouting" mission?

Its wild this thread got brought back up. i had forgotten about it until now. I had just been reflecting on this incident a few weeks ago while i was sitting on my porch late one night. About four months after the incident I got stopped in the office of my apartment by a manager I know. After I contacted him about the situation there were other people in the complex that had similar complaints but did not contact the sheriffs department. At any rate the complex was notified that the officer in question was removed from his duties at the Mecklenburg police department, but they did note specify why. My guess is he's probably working at another police dept. somewhere still creepin'

In SC there is a good possibility that acting like that will get you shot.
