Yep, I just finished mine too.

My wife worked part time and didn't take any taxes out. I asked her if she wanted to pay her taxes or if she wanted me to. That went over real well.

Me too. TGIF... Thank God It's Finished!!! I probably have spend close to 30 hours on it, and that was with a helper. Previous years, always paid to have it done, but didn't like what the fees have been lately, so I dove head first into this one. Glad it's over with.

Here too, although my tax practice is a fraction of what it was 5 years ago. Record low number of extensions too. Life is much good.

I take it that you are a CPA? Whatever it is, so good to hear from people that love what they do. Was in the electronic security biz for more than 40 years, _and could say that I loved it too, (most of the time )

I always think about that when my grandfather was a kid there was no income tax at all.

My wife had me on taxes back in early February. So I can say that thankfully I have been done with them for a while.

Dropped off mine a few clients returns to the post office last nite and celebrated with a martini or five. I would have smoked an Opus or Havana but I have a sinus infection right now. And only one extension this year.

The last day is always bittersweet. Happiness that you're done but worry about anything you might be missing.

Was going to take today off and fish with my son but weather crappy here so holding till Friday. Just cleaning office and reviewing quarterly payrolls to wind down.
