Default Losing a friend.

Not to bum anyone out, but I just spent 5 hours each way going to my best friends funeral...had a little lung congestion and BOOM. massive heart attack....Only 62 years old.....we've been fishing and hunting together for 38 years. Just hard to think I can't pick up the phone or pop off an email.

He was a guy who had my back through the best and the worst times. Damn I'm going to miss him!

Sorry for your loss, John. It's tough. Remember the good times you're lucky to have had friend like that.

Thanks all, I guess the best message is call your buds and let them know you appreciate them. Easy to let things slide when a pal moves away

Celebrate the friendship,
Relish the memories,
It's time for your friend to rest now.

My sympathy.

I lost my best friend 5 years ago.... He left my house, and was killed in an accident on his way home. I am so sorry for your loss. Doing the things we used to do together certainly keeps his memory close to heart, and I can always hear his words.... It will get easier brother, so sorry again.

Damn that SUCKS!

It hurts. I know.

The best advice i ever got....whenever you feel down about it, Try, i mean try, to remember every good moment you shared. That with time, will help. It wont cure your pain, but it will help.

So sorry.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. One of my best fishing buddies passed in November 2011. Probally one of the best fisherman I've known in my life time. He had numerous strokes, yet could land more fish than any one on the boat. Always had a smile on his face, loved to joke around with everyone while fishing. Now when fishing and things get dull, I just think about all the good times we had together and see him smiling everytime one of us lands a fish. Prayers for you and his family.

My condolences for your loss. Since it sounds like he may have been a good guy you then always know that he's now shooting 18 under most days with some 20 under rounds thrown in for good luck!
