A regular golf cart will fit in the bed of a full size pickup. You'll need a pair of loading ramp that motorcycle shops carry for about $125.00 to load and unload it. FWIW, I've used U-ship twice, with good results.

I'll be taking mine from Kingston, TN to Gulf Shores, AL in early May. It will ride in the pick-up beg, along with the 2x8s that serve as the redneck loading ramps...

I rode the auto grain south a couple years ago. I wish I could travel that way everywhere!
