Default Some Advice on Pricing & Selling a Boat

A few weeks ago, my father in law passed away unexpectedly and my mother in law has asked me to take the responsibility of selling his boat.
Since I have my own boat, it is not a boat that I could either afford or care to maintain on my own.

Basic Boat Description:
1989 - 31’ North Coast, Twin 454’s, 420 Gallon Fuel Capacity (one main, 2 saddles), All Electronics, (GPS, Radios, Radar, fish Finder, etc.), Tower with 2nd helm Station, Lee Outriggers &Teaser Pole , Lee fighting Chair.

I have looked on-line and have had little success trying to find a site that I can get a ballpark idea of what the value of this boat is. Also, what would be the best route to take trying to sell it, privately or through a broker?

Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance – Steve – Hlights2

BUC is king, as are local listings to compare current market value for the area.
