Default Gun holster while jogging?

I have a Belly band that I got from Mid way. Does anybody have anything they like to use while out jogging. My weapon is a Taurus M605. The band likes to slip over a period of time.

try this, http://www.activeprogear.com/jogger_holster.html we used to use these in iraq while jogging the perimeter roads, allowed us to have a weapon and a radio/spare mag/tourniquet. for your application i would have reflective tape sewn to the front and back of it so it doesn't scream "concealed carry" like the stock version does. try and make it alittle sporty as if it were something you bought at sports authority.

If you jog without a shirt, that thing is going to give you tan lines that are going to be hard to explain!

That jogger bag is pretty cool!
And damn you Dillard, you're making me think more about a problem I've been ignoring!! I won't let my wife walk/jog solo or with the kids after dark. Not just due to the wannabe thugs in my (pre-rescission nice) neighbourhood but for the pit bulls that occasionally roam free (post rescission)!!!! I won't go for a walk with the family at dark without carrying, but I run un-armed. I usually run between 2000hrs 0600hrs. I've thought about this quite often as I run by particular cars, houses, etc.
God, I hate where I live!!!

I've thought about the dogs and coyotes too.... pepper spray would be better than nothing. Like the can they give you when you go out west.. the size of hair spray I've gotten so used to carrying a gun all the time, I almost feel "naked" why I go for a run without. Probably would be fine but YOU NEVER KNOW. And damn wouldn't you be happy when you need it and its there. Also, people are so damn mean now, they'll kill you for the hell of it.

if you need a to carry a gun on a jog, time to think about moving to a better neighborhood. For protection from wild animals is one thing, if you are concerned about 2 legged animals then time to move.

I am not trying to be smart.

Where I live, we do not lock the doors. not a gated community or security on the street. Just a good old fashioned nice street in a nice town.

Sorry to be a dick.

Complacency just might catch up with you one day. Most victims don't think it will happen to them either.

I live in CT as well. So it sounds like you don't leave your cozy little neighborhood. I got news for you, CT is loaded with criminals and this economy is creating new ones every day. My neighborhood I use to do the same, leave doors open all day all night, forget to close the garage door with thousands of dollars of tackle, etc. I thought I never have to worry about anything until 1994, life changed. From that point on everyone in my family is trained and carrying legally. I believe it’s every ones right to protect themselves and their family.

First thing that goes through my mind every time I see a jogger, "I bet he's got a thousand dollars in those speedos".

Why in the hell would you need a gun to exercise? With the rare exception of hot young women being kidnapped by a guy in a windowless van, I think it's pretty freaking rare for a jogger to be robbed.

Im not an anti gun nut, in fact I have too many of them. But you either have to live in in delusional fear or live in the wrong side of town to worry about this.

Athens GA has a murder rate of what, 2 per year?

Only in the last few years have I payed real attention to the number of people missing ...It is ammazing the number of people that are missing for years and ultimately never found.... It is sad but you never know where evil wil turn up jogging or not..

St. Augustine is probably as sleepy as Athens

After reviewing many holsters I settled on a Remora....these things perform as advertised.
