Watching the guy snorkle I'd say he was very new at it....I don't imagine he'll be doing mor of it!

When to OP said there was lots of blood I stoped watching before the poor guy was struck. I am not a fan of these types of video's.

hard to watch.

wonder if there was a dive flag?

well known snorkeling area, etc.?

Brings back bad memories of Mexico (Puerto Penasco) a year or so ago. Panga towing a big banana raft ran over a swimmer. Prop cut his head open. They were able to get him to the beach and he bled out right there within a minute or two. Nothing anybody could do. Very grotesque and sad.

You really take your chances in a 3rd world country; there's no set safety standards or swimming zones.

That's why you're supposed to have a dive flag. Well at least in the U.S. that is. Anyway, as a free diver and spearfisherman I will state that you definitely can hear a boat approaching while underwater. The visibiity in the video was at least 100 feet. With fins on his feet there's no reason why that guy could not have dove down and out of the way of those props. I guess this is Darwin's way of culling out the weak.

Third world countries my asss don't go to Turkey Point on Lake Erie then The kids that rent the jet skis use swimmers are pylongs
