No way! If you consider each person only a ft wide that is at least a 16 footer

It scales about every 7/16 of an inch equals one foot with my screen and overall it measures 9 & 3/4 inches. That would put the Gator at approximately 21 feet 7 inches.

It's a croctical illusion. The croc is more forward in the picture. The people are at least a few (5 or 6 ft., if not more) behind the wall where the croc is laying.

Look closely - no one actually has a hand on the croc -- that's the only way you'd get any true scale.

Anyone using wide angle lenses knows this trick.

Where do you think all those big fish photos come from?

LMFAO......that equation works if you have a clue how far the croc is from the camera. I used the blocks it is laying on as a measuring device. Each rock looks like a standard 1 sq ft stone. The people behind the croc are at least 10 to 20 feet away the wall.

This thread proves only one thing.THT'ers will argue about anything. Even something on another continent were we have no way to verify size. It also seems to prove that size does matter

What you guys don't see is that you do have scale. That stick they are using to prop open its mouth is a Giant Sequoia and they actually put the croc on top of Stonehenge to take the pic.
