Default Did something a bit different today Snake hunting

Me and a good friend took his girlfriends 11 yr old son on a snake hunt today
Be easy on the comments it was an iPhone camera and the kid had a great time and really what else matters

Look close at the trees and you can see a young buck





If you look at the rock you will see a small gator

I grew up in the Davie area and used to snake hunt all the time as a kid. Before it was all built up we would catch a lot of snakes including red/yellow rats, Florida Kings, Coach whips, garters, ring necks, scarlet kings and and sometimes an Indigo which we would release. Would always through back the water snakes since they had no value. It was a great place to grow up and have fun like that.

man that brings back some memories
growing up my best friend and i spent every weekend hunting snakes
at one point we we getting paid to catch king snakes, particularly the salt & pepper ones, for the pet store

we had rat snakes, kings, water snakes, corn snakes & hognoses all the time

After a few looks, I figured out someone was standing behind you in pic 5. At first I thought you were saving that mullet ponytail from the 70's.
