Default Crown Royal Black

Made a stop at liquor store and picked up few supplies and while at check out got a pint of Crown Royal Black

Wished I had got the full size bottle. Great bold but mellow taste

Try Crown Royal Reserve or Crown Royal XR Or Crown Royal Cask No 16 - all three are one more step above the black. The black is a bit too smokey for me. But these 3 are so smooth, hard to stop drinking it....

Drinking Crown Reserve on the rocks right now. I agree, the Crown Black is a bit too smokey. Good stuff, but not their best IMHO

Tried it a month or so ago and didn't care for it. I'll stick with regular or reserve.

I very much enjoy the taste of Crown Royal but for reasons beyond my comprehension, when ever I drink more than I shot that stuff gives me a fuggin' headache! No other scotch, single malt or blended, does. No other alcoholic beverage does ... only Crown Royal.

Crown Royal is OK but I just don't trust any liquor company that doesn't care enough to distill their own whisky. If you read the fine print it says "Bottled by". I'll take Maker's Mark or Woodford Reserve any day.

To me the Cask No. 16 is smooths and not as "sweet" as other Crown products. I sip on it, do not do much drinking anymore.... Plus it is too pricey to waste!

No lie.... LoL

Here's some advice I'd like to pass on that I learned in my youth:

It's not really a good idea (even if your friends are doing it) to down 151 Bacardi jello shots and chase them with Crown shots.

+1 I above comment black is good. The cask 18 is a step up and the XR is the best I've had.
