Been there twice......my family had a great time. I was the only brave soul that used the monster waterslide.

Love the yachts there. One year there was one yacht 238'. You can google all the boats down there and see how the 0.000001% live.

Tell the taxi driver to take you to Potters Cay the under the bridge where the fishing boats come in around 4PM. There are about 20 shacks that prepare the catch that comes off the boats. Get yourself some cracked lobster, cracked conch, conch salad and a Kalik and thank me later for the tip. It's dirty and doesn't look safe but it is and the food is awesome.

The wavy river and Power Tower are a lot of fun. Those are some 5 foot waves in there. Here are some pics I took last time I was there.

Just flew back from Exuma last nite. Stayed for a week at Sandals. A lot more low keyed than Atlantis but for my first time in the Bahamas I couldnt believe how amazing the water was.

Hope you enjoy the rest of the trip.

I don't care much for Nassau, BUT Cracked Conch, peas and rice, and Kalik GOLD anywhere in the bahamas is my favorite meal.

Kalik is just about the nastiest beer I have ever drank. When I was in Marsh Harbor the 3 bars in town served Kalik, the other local stuff, and Bacardi. I stuck with Bacardi.

Nassau is great if you know what to do. East of Paradise Island is a long chain of small islands with the most beautiful beaches. We rented a boat and went to Rose island and hung out for the day. It felt like the Exumas but only 20 minutes from the dock at Atlantis. That's all i want to do when I go to the Bahamas anyway is lay on a deserted beach with crystal clear water.

You can have a nice relaxing vacation if you stay at either the Cove or Reef Towers. Atlantis guests cannot use the pools or beach at the private towers.

Kalik is a really good beer. Maybe yours was sitting in the hot sun for a month.

I have to agree with Captian Kenney - I think the horse that made my last Kalik had a urinary infection

I was averaging 6 a day last week in Emerald Bay Exuma. I like dark beers, but in the sun on the beach I didn't mind it at all. I thought it was much better than Corona.

we honeymooned at the Cove a few years back and it was amazing....you get all of the comforts of Atlantis but also got the private beach and bars with the Cove....it was a bit pricy but worth it....we're planning on going back fairly soon.....x3 on Kalik....absolutely terrible

Went 3 times over the past 10 years in April. Expensive yes but Awesome!! Still can't believe some of the negative reviews I read sometimes. The place is great for ages 5 to 75!

The wife and I went on a cruise in December and one of the stops was Atlantis. We were only there for a day but we saw a lot. We will be going back soon. It was amazing.

I have been there several times. I love the beach. I just lay there starting at 10AM and call for my nurse. The guy who sells the coconut rum drinks.
