Default Hello fellow fishermen and fisherwomen.

Hi all I just joined and am looking forward to hanging out here a bit. When it comes to boats I need more info than I have to give. I am about to buy my first boat so call me a rookie boater but I'm not a rookie fisher. Hopefully I'll meet some of you down in Venice La. where I plan on doing the bulk of my offshore fishing. Take care.

So the place needs more women and coonasses? I'll be glad to do my part.

How nasty am I? If I told you it might change your life forever.

I can't post pictures because I haven't purchased the boat yet.

I have not hunted gators.

Now don't yall go getting the wrong idea about me because of my screen name.

I did that before and the guy drove half way across the country to propose to me. I'm not joking. And it won't be a 'P'-Rawg, I want to catch Wahoos......don't take that the wrong way.

Welcome.
We need more ladies on this forum.

Photos don't have to be of a boat.

Looking forward to you hanging around awhile.

No to the liquor store but I do enjoy Crown Royal on the rocks with a splash of diet coke for color.

Lady is not exactly how I would describe myself. I just re-did my computer to Widows 7 and my hard-drive is clear so I'll have to dig through my old hard drive for some other pictures that are mild enough to post here. I'm looking forward to hanging out as well.

I'm in the market for something between 26' and 30'. I figure that size will handle my needs which are (1) big enough to fish offshore (tuna, wahoo, ect) but (2) small enough to not look too stupid tied to a rig while I look stupid chasing a two fish limit of Red Snapper. I am looking at used boats and they seem very affordable albeit with 2 stroke power. I think I'd ultimately like to have dual 4 stroke outboards.

You two obviously can tell (just by their screen names) who has a nice personality.

Thanks for the warm welcomes and I'll try my best to stop in often.

I'm flexible on the kind of boat. I think the center console boats are the best ones to fish but obviously lack protection from the elements should you need it. The Cuddy Cabins are nice and if the right one comes along I'd go that route. The Walk Around is very nice as it has the cabin and allows you to follow the big fish around the boat if necessary. As far as paying goes I have options. If the price is right enough I'll do cash. I'll keep the boat in Venice. I don't want to have to store that much boat at my house or pull it to Venice and back everytime I want to go fishing especially if its a 30'. I am new to offshore boats so all advice and info is welcome. If I have something wrong with my logic then please let me know.
