Default St Aug - Amelia Island

Thinking about going down in March how are the water temps during the month? Thinking about the beach area.

Thanks,

I am actually sitting in the airport flying to Amelia right now.

Can still be cold in March.

FYI, Daytona bike week runs March 9-18 and hotels fill quickly, even in St. Augustine...

The Amelia Island Concours D'Elegance, one of the country's premier collector car shows, is March 9-11. I've never been, but have to imagine the island is booked solid for that.

March equals chilly weather but nonetheless lots to do. If your looking to party drive up to Savannah that offers a great "Cead Mile Faite" for St.Pattys on the 17th. On Amelia lots of great bed & breakfasts or the Plantation. You might also check out the Greyfield Inn on Cumberland Island which you can reach by ferry from Amelia or St Marys, Georgia. Enjoy
