HA HA...I'll never forget a few years back, went out to the swap meet at the fairgrounds one Saturday, one old gent selling rabbits...my wife started petting them and cooing all over them...she asked the guy what breed was the best, and he replied....just as straight faced as a stone..."Do you want a pet or a dinner?"...I don't know if my wife was more pissed at his answer or at me for laughing so loud...

Hasenpfeffer is way overrated. Fricassee is the way to go (Elmer Fudd would agree). Our small game season opens this Saturday. You can beat we'll have some "Toby" in the slow cooker. Nice thing about living down here....we can go hunting in the morning, then launch the boat in the afternoon...in February!!
