Default Honda Ridgeline

Have you guys seen the new Honda truck?

I am a little disappointed in the styling. My wife and I have been Honda fans for 20 years now and have owned 9 Honda cars. They were all great.

The front end of this thing looks okay except for the lights. The straight line at the top of the fenders looks terrible, and the side indentions are a bad touch. Looks like they got the bed design from an el Camino.

Hell no, I ain't trading my Super Duty for that thang !!

I bet Buffy and Skippy and their Australian Sheep dog Max would love it.

Thoughts?

I love our Accord, but I'm keeping my GMC. Needs more CI or torque.

I wish it had a V-8...what about the powerplant from the pilot?

I still like the Titan better.

I don't think that thing could tow my empty trailer, and it uglier than the pilots that they forgot to paint.

I thik I'll keep my big redneck powerstroke diesel.

To be fair to Honda, I don't think they're intending it to be a full-size pickup replacement. And it really is just a Pilot (with the 3.5L Acura V-6) with a bed and modified running gear.

I think it looks perfect! Less threat to my job security....Now if someone can go and burn down that new plant that Toyota is building in Texas...I am kidding don't do it....Support my fishing habit....Go and buy a FORD!

Have you seen the Element? This looks like an upgrade to that box. And a 5,000lb towing capacity is 2,500 less than my Mountaineer. Forget about the Ford F150 at 9,500lbs.

I agree, Honda has no intention on doing what Nissan is attempting.
