Looks like the pack got some good ones! I'd hate to buy groceries for this group.

Yes, and it looks like Mike Stoops is going to make some noise with my AZ Wildcats. Unfortunately for us, USC has become the 9,000,000,000 lb gorilla of recruiting in the PAC-10.

Yes. They are pulling off of the east coast as well. As long as Pete and Norm are together, that is going to be a GREAT team.

BTW-
Bainbridge island is gorgeous. I was there a few summers ago on a business trip.

I thought Chuck pulled in another nice class. Last year's record will be the exception. I think we will continue to head in the right direction. The QB situation is still a little shakey, but I bet the new OC will work the offense more like Phillips first year. Good class and good things to come. Go Pack.

Can't quite say the same about Bball
I'll give the heels props...they looked tough last night.

I agree. Considering last years season, I think it was a good haul.

BTW.....look for some position changes on offense next year.

Any good tidbits? I guess you are talking about QB. With all of the RB's we have I expect a few will play the T-hall spot of half-back/flanker or whatever they call it. We definitely have some guys that are talented with the ball in their hands....just have to get the ball to them. That seemed to be our weak spot last year.

I can't wait for next season. I make it back at least once a year for a little tailgating at C-F. Good times. I'm a dislocated NC boy that plans on making it home sweet home in the near future. The good side of my "travels" is that I got to fish in a lot of awesome places.

Go Pack

These are all rumors that actually have some credibility behind them.

Bobby Washington will move from RB to the slot receiver position. Reggie Davis will be moved to fullback (actually running with a lead blocker....I don't remember us doing this over the past 2-3 years). He will block for the nasty trio of Andre Brown, Tony Baker, and Darrell Blackman. Leroy Harris will probably play center. I think Jay Davis will probably remain the starting QB but I would look for A LOT of improvement under Trestman as opposed to Mazzone.

All in all, I think we will have a very potent offense if Davis can play a decent game. He doesn't have to be Rivers.......just decent. Go Pack!

I'm sure he is. He was put in a tough spot last year. He had to come in and "replace" the best quarterback ever at NCSU. I didn't/don't envy the task. Hopefully he will continue to grow and have a good senior campaign.

Funny...I'm on the boards everyday, and it takes the Pack to get me talking. It can be tough pulling for the PACK at times, but you gotta love it.

On a complete side note I heard Doug Flutie on the radio this week. He said that SD might keep Brees another year, but it was clear to the organization who the future of SD is. PR. I thought that was a pretty strong endorsement considering Brees performance this year.
