Very important. When crossing a street in Hanoi or HCMC, just step out into the street and walk straight across. Say plenty of prayers on the way across. All of those motor scooters will simply split apart and go around you. DO NOT, and I repeat DO NOT get nervous and stop, gig, or try to avoid the oncoming scooters as this will disrupt the chi and is dangerous.

If he doesn't see these it was a wasted trip. Wat & Thom are in Siem Riep.
Also
head up the river to Tonle Sap and Lake. 45 mins up, 30 mins at destination and 45 mins down river. Interesting.
Silk Farms are interesting but not mandatory in my mind.

Since I've owned and ridden a motorcycle for many years, I figured I'd be able to drive. At first my wife said she'd ride with her aunt. I figured, it'd be best if she rode with me in case we got separated, she could at least speak the language.
Anyway, that first trip was one of the scariest things I've done. You can't wait for an opening in traffic, as there won't be one. Instead, you have to keep moving until you notice that the bikes start to go around you, then you can merge.
I could be wrong, but I'm almost positive I've ridden through this roundabout. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f7ZtObhZqRA

I have an Aussie mate that lives in Cambodia. Best thing he has done there is fire machine guns, throw grenades and fire off some RPG's. Not sure where he did it exactly but found this with Google http://realtravel.com/e-137356-phnom...ys_in_cambodia

Halong Bay. Take a cruise up the Perfume River out of Hue. Go up Truong Dong (NW) branch. Spent thirteen months there but not to much enjoyable scenery at that time.Nha Trang, Ba Ho waterfalls. The water around (diving-swimming - clarity) is around 40 - 50 ft.Depending on when and where he goes over there he could get into the monsoon season. The south is over and the north is almost over, or will be in a month or so.Thailand is where i did my R/R. Thats a nice place.

This contraption on the right side of the canal was our "shitter". The shit hit the canal, and about a million catfish were there to grab lunch. Beat burning the stuff. Once a month the local's put on a "fish drive" and caught half the fish for their dinner. Yummy! Woops i guess the pic didn't down load.
