Three people were rescued after a boat they were on sank near the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel.

About 2 p.m., the Coast Guard was contacted and it put out a broadcast. A 45-foot response boat was sent to the area from Station Little Creek.

The fishing vessel Official Business was in the area and was able to pull all three people out of the water. When the Coast Guard crew arrived, the three people were escorted to the Coast Guard station where an ambulance was waiting.
