Default Can a talented artist become a vendor here?

My Sister paints the Maine coast.

She is not family here with THT. Yet. I just got off the phone after getting the go ahead.

I hope you like her work. I think THT would be a wonderful venue to sell more of her work.

I told her she would be signing up on Sunday. We don`t eat Spam on Sunday. Please give her your thoughts.

Thanks,
GFS

To make a painting more personal to members, would she be willing to paint from a photograph say of a shore home, someones boat, or some place that they like?

Just some off the wall thoughts.

Not off the wall at all.

If you click on her oil paintings you will find some of her commision work done from photos.

Morning Breeze is a summer home and Laura B was a present for a 20th Anniv. Two of my favorites.

Mod 4,
Thanks for your candor. You have mail.
I wanted everyone to know she is my sister as I felt it was the right thing to do. I could have been sneaky. I chose not to be.

I will get her the info to become a vendor so you won`t have to deal with the Mommy button pushers.

What did you think of her work?

Cheers,
GFS

Really nice work. The style is much different than I've seen in the past.

Stunning work. The oils especially.

What about prints?

I love the crispness of the lines and colors in her oils. Very nice.

I wanted to thank everyone for their kind words. Sarah will be so pleased. Artists need encouragement.

I enjoyed her work, I prefer the oils but all are a nice confection. I wish her success.

Gotta love a good deadrise painting.

The Watercolors don`t translate to photos for some reason. Those may be the most challenging. You have to see the colors in person.

Coloring outside the lines,
GFS

To the Mom`s,
My end is sent. Cheers.

Some very nice stuff.

Maybe someday she'll head a bit more North to Moosehead. It's more my style (her work) than some of the local talent I've seen up there.

Mist wants an airplane picture! (I love Moosehead lake)

Any thoughts on prints?

She has Giclee prints. I miss the sound of Loons on a lake in the morning. Moosehead is a step back in time.

I need to correct myself. Sarah is no longer painting from pictures. It just wasn`t enjoyable. She is just painting plein air or outside now.

She is an ocean gal. Don`t know if she would paint a plane. Maybe.
