She is having a ball. I suspect a resin bag is involved.

obviously it is trick photography and time lapse taken probably over months worth of moves.. Editing turns it into a quick youtube clip. The kids do that stuff all the time

It pays to still be 12 years old I guess. This is how the Chinese gymnastics team won (and then lost) the gold medal last time. They had 12-14 year old girls with fake birth certificates.

This is NOT possible with a female of legal age of consent.

I can only imagine how many hours were spent practicing that routine! Wonder what she scored on that.

Somebody should tell the Harlem Globe Trotters they could be in trouble.

Options.....So Many Options. Flexability like that could keep things interesting for a while.

With the upmost respect, you have not even a phuquing idea on what you are talking about... Í do not know you, but I would bet some money that the girl in the video with minimum self defense trainign could probably kick your ass in more than one way. Hell, I've trained 16-18 YO with the muscles and speed to kick my ass and yours at the same time. and I'm talking about girls... you do not want to even start thinking about the raw power, strength, stamina, resistance and speed a male gymnast has at 18.
I would recommend you to do some research and look what kids like that one do, train, work and sacrifice to get to do things like that, before making such a stupid comment.
How would you feel if I would say, "yea.. lobstering is just a lazy half ass job where you get to lay on the boat and pick up a cage here and there. No skill required whatsoever, just drop the cage and wait for the lobster to get in there by itself"?
I'm sure you would not like it.
I've used to train kids to do stuff like that for years... Obviously what you are seeing in that video is at an elite level, but you are a complete ignorant if you think that the video is just editing and a quick youtube clip. Is not just editing and it takes a lifetime to achieve that level of excellence.
Girls would come when they were 3-4 YO and some stayed until going out of town to college. Training for 4-6-8 hs a day 4, 5 and 6 days a week is the norm. They spend more time at the gym and with their coach or team mates than with parents, boyfriends or friends.
Most of them do more push ups and sit ups in a week (a month at the most), than what you probably did IN YOUR ENTIRE LIFE... you think that marine training is hard and they can do push ups or chin ups??? Most of the mediocre gymnasts would beat a marine in those skills before even starting to break a sweat.
They get used to do things that it would be impossible to even believe about it for mostly any other human been.
I do not think is the best of the sports to practice all your life, but I have no doubt in my mind that gymnastics is the best all-around sport for any kid to start with when they are young (very young) and they do not know what they like or what they are good at.
If you use gymnastics as your base sport, no matter what other sport you decide to change to at any point in your life, you will already have the skills that many others like you are still struggling on... it gives you, strength, balance, gross and fine motor skills control, body spatial awareness and movement control, raw power but accuracy at the same time, resistance, real and even muscle development that will protect your bones from injuries that any other people would normally not be protected, flexibility, equilibrium, etc....
Like I said, I've been around the sport for a while. It is probably not my first choice sport that I would like my daughter or son to dedicate their life to, but I did signed my daughter on gymnastics classes since she was 2, and it will be the same for my son when he gets to that age.
I can also go on over the bad part of the sport, but I was just trying to give lobstercatcher a glimpse of the amount and quality of info you need before making a statement like the one he did.

For whoever asked or said that its a worthless talent, I'm not going to even take the time to respond.
