They must have cropped the picture already. I can't see the waverunner but the kid right in the middle of the pic still has his PFD on.

Very sad to hear about another tragedy at Virginia Tech. I pray for those students, and for the victims. I graduated in 2004, and Blacksburg was always the safest place I could ever think of. No one locked their doors, and there was no crime to speak of. The town loved the university, and the university loved the town. Now two violent tragedies within 4 years of each other.

BLACKSBURG, Va. – DEVELOPING: Two people, including a police officer, were gunned down on Virginia Tech's campus on Thursday, according to the university.
A Virginia Tech police officer was shot shortly after noon during a traffic stop in the Coliseum parking lot near McComas Hall, a campus gymnasium. The unidentified officer later died.
Witnesses reported to police that the shooter fled on foot toward a parking lot, where a second unidentified victim was found dead.

So they know who they are looking for right? He shot the cop during a traffic stop in a parking lot and then fled on foot. I assume this means he was in a car with a license plate and VIN. Maybe he stole the car. Either way I hope nothing more happens to innocent victems.

I am listening to the news confrence right now. The person who shot the officer was not the person stopped in the traffic stop. Apparently, the officer was in the middle of a traffic stop and a third party walked up to him and shot him. Truely horrible.

That is not true, the person stopped did not kill the police officer. Durring the stop a third person uninvolved with the traffic stop walked up to the police cruiser and shot the officer. Then the shooter ran away and killed himself.
