x2!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah - 2 homes around the corner - 1 has HALLOWEEN decor still up, the other has the Christmas lights! ;?

We have more latitude (space) this year as we moved from a townhome to a single family place - so the wife will probably have my azz up on the roof (and MANY other locations!) a la "Christmas Vacation"!

Regards,

Yes, Done. We travel for Thanksgiving every year. Plus I hate getting everything down putting it up and then only a couple of weeks later having to put it all back up, I need a month in between there.

What we do on Saturday after Thanksgiving at my house, I only hunt that am and then come home and we start putting them up

We have both families at our house for Thanksgiving and too much stuff to do or Admiral would have had me putting them up today

We love Christmas, funny thing is plenty of help putting them up but not ANY TAKING THEM DOWN

I did build some big shelves in my carport a couple years back so I can keep from having to go up and down the narrow cheap as stairs into my attic ceiling, my fat ass barley fits through the opening and I think they were designed for a 150lb boney ass man not a 6 3" 250lb man

We have two radio stations here that have been playing Christmas music 24 hours a day for two weeks now.

Everything was nice and peaceful tonight, watching some football, ate a little dinner, then BAM; the wife decides she wants to get started on Christmas. I put the trees up, and now I'll just stay out of the way.

After reading this thread yesterday I spent a few hours hanging lights outside. I will turn them on the day after Thanksgiving. I live in a competitive neighborhood and others will try to beat me to the punch....I will win this year.
