Default Do you remember the first date with your current wife?

Great first date for wife number four, 41 years ago.

I said to her "wanna get in the back seat"? She replied "No I would rather stay in the front seat with you".

I knew right then I must marry her, she could not be trusted to be out in the world by herself.

It was a blind date on her birthday coming up on 25 years ago.

She told me to pull her nighty down when I was finished.

It was 24 years ago. First date, first girlfriend, ......... First girl I ever dated, last girl I ever dated. Same for her. We got it right, the first time.

High school football game, she had a wool army blanket and I was freezing! She asked if I wanted to share a blanket with her. To this day I can't remember ANYTHING about that game. Just fell head over heel for her right there.

Kelley green hot-pants and Nancy Sinatra boots outfit on a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader body with a June Cleaver attitude and a one-man-woman plan for her life.

I bit.

Yep,
Almost 21 years ago. I married her 6 months later and have never been sorry for my decision. She might regret her decision though .. (not really)

29 year ago I took a good classmate with me to watch my childhood friend play for the Pittsburgh Steelers. We were in grad school and had struck up a mutual friendship. Flew back to UGA and a switch was flipped. Been with her ever since and haven't regretted a single moment.

She had only been divorced about 8 months and had decided she wasn't going to date for a year. But then she met me... First date she insisted that we double-date; second date we had to take her kids along. Finally on the third date she let me take her on a real date...I took her out for sushi.

She had a thing for me since about 14 years old. 18years old took her on a date fishing, after fishing me being me tried to get some and she was going to give it up. Well I had a weird feeling asked if she was a virgin she said yes. I said sorry I cant take that from you. Never talked to her for almost 5 years.
Just before I went home on leave before my first deployment she emailed me and we started talking again.
Buddy at home asked to go out I was a 3rd wheel so I asked her to come with. I then realized she was it.
After i got home from a 15 month tour I married her 3 months later. Now coming up on ONLY 2 years and hoping it lasts like much of you guys with these 20-30-40 years marriages.

One key thing is SHE WAYS INSISTS ON HAVING A BOAT. And for me to have guns and go hunting.

Yup it was my birthday; there was a lot of first that night. Either way is was standing at a bar with a bunch of people when this guy walked up to me and said would you like to come over to our table and have a drink with us......my sister would like to meet you.......................good thing she (my furture wife) was sitting in the corner of the booth because other wise she would have fallen off her seat and fallen onto the floor...man was she drunk.

After a few drinks with her brother and girlfriend I drove this very attractive young lady home, tucked her into her bed and slept on the couch in the living room..................but I banged the snot out of her in the morning. .......a week later I 'KNEW' I was going to marry her.......it just took me 10 years to do it. ....one of the best moves I ever made! What have I got, 26 years under my belt...something like that. ....I've never been one to count stupid numbers like that.

We grew up in the same neighborhood only 1 street apart but didn't cross paths much (I'm 1 yr older). In jr high school she was the hottest in the group of cool girls and I was just a regular kid (nothing special, yet). I only dreamed that I would ever have a chance with her. A few yrs later in the summer of '81 I was hanging out with my buddy who's girlfriend lived on the same street. We were in my car (a '79 white Camaro) and his girl said let's ride down to Pat's. She laid eyes on my car and she's been mine ever since. My buddy and his girl were getting mushy so I looked at Pat and said "you wanna go get a burger". Off to McDonald's we went and the rest is history.

Not the same car but it looked a lot like:

I never got a chance to check out the car's power over other women, we were 16 and 15 and have not been away from each others side since. I would do it all over again, she would depending on what day you ask.

Yup, keg party at my apartment Jan. 20 1990. It was for her cousin's birthday. I was hammered and we started making fun of a chunky girl wearing a skirt that was WAY too small. We ended up making out till 4am. She wouldn't give it up. We went out every night that next week. Lived in sin till '97 and then got married. Two healthy boys and 21 years later, I wouldn't change a thing. She still makes me smile every day.

Sure do. It was a pick-up date to a Michigan State-Ohio State football game and MSU won!! 40 years of marriage later, we still talk about that once in a while.

MSU fans remember such things!

26 years ago on a blind date!
Driving home with my friend I
said, I'm going to marry that girl!
He said, just get a 2nd date!
There seems to be trend about no regrets on
our sides! The wives need to be asked
on a good day!

Married 24 years!
