Roll your mouse over any of the 24 vertebrae in the human spine below to learn how each vertebra is connected to specific areas, organs and functions of your body, as well as how subluxation of that vertebrae may cause health challenges if not corrected.

I guess that's if you buy into the idea that all ailment is related to misaligned spine. It is, after all, a chiropractic website.

In California no more cracking spines by chiros ... too many people seriously hurt or paralyses by the practice.

Over 30 years ago I had a Chiro tell me "you have a blocked colon and you will die if not treated--you need to see me twice a week."

I laughed and have not seen one since.

BTW--people tell me I am full of s***. But--I am still alive.

I used a chiropractor for some bad back pain/spasms I had that where not caused by any specific trauma. I did not buy into the theory that he could cure all that ails me, but it did provide temporary relief and helped me heal up a little better - IMO.

Better check your facts about CA. I know a few Chiro's there that are still working. As far as injuries go, you can tell by the insurance(malpractice) rates, and they are as cheap as you will find. If, the insurance companies had to pay out huge malpractice claims they would reclaim it from us. And my malpractice is lower than my car insurance (no points). 23 years of practice and the state board puts out a yearly newsletter regarding all the claims and not one death, and very few actual injuries. Most cases involve sexual misconduct followed by drug use (RX and street).
Now, as far as that nice interactive website. I got a chuckle out that my self, and had thought while not totally accurate it's entertaining and gives a decent representation. I agree NOT ALL ailments are related to a misaligned spine, some are.
Unfortunately some Chiro's out there claim they can "cure" this, that, and another thing because there is a link from this vertebra to this organ. And like most groups they are the loudest and most visible part of that group.
I know alot of chiropractors and I would not let some of them work on me, but the majority are well educated and aware of the limitations of spinal manipulations.

Ok. I'll play.

Explain to me EXACTLY how each of those parts are connected to their represented parts.

I'll wait.

They are very loosely connected to the parts by way of neurological connections. I wish it was that simple. Would have made the 8 years of school alot easier. This simplistic representation is closer to an eastern medicine idea (Accupuncture, etc) but it has some correlation. Here are a few links that can explain better than I can.
