Hit the nail right on the head.

Those "students" are Jon's demographic.
Their parents should be proud.................NOT !!

Just because you have an Ivy League does not make you a genius. Just highly educated. Some of the smartest people (and most successful) I have ever met barely made it through high school. Anytime you happen to meet a self-made successful business owner, chances are they have very little education. Most (if not all) highly educated usually end up with a high salary working for someone else.
There is a huge difference between being ignorant and being stupid.

He's a comedian and entertainer, not an analyst or real news reporter. No use in attacking people who think The Daily Show is real news

What in that clip wasn't true?
He is showing what most THT members think.
He pointed out that the students moral compass needs to be replaced along with a slap up side their heads.

Everything he said happened. What do you disagree with?

Stewart is a comedian...an entertainer...period. While he may interject his political views into his routines, it's all for a laugh. Remember, his show is on the COMEDY channel...
He does on occasion have an interesting and accurate insight, as is the case with this particular snippet.
He's good for some laughs...but there are others I watch when I want serious analysis or reporting.

I think Stewart is a hate-filled idiot and I am embarassed to say that I agree with the clip the OP posted. In that one case, he is right. Can't believe anyone would even have to discuss what happened trying to rationalize a kids rape. Joe Pa knew it, he allegedly reported it and did nothing else. Really? You never thought to ask why nothing was done?

No one thought to find out WHY the rapist was still walking the campus????

No one thought to find out how the child was doing, how he could be helped???

ANYONE who knew the rapist had an obligations as a human to get him off the street (screw the campus)
ANYONE who knew about the children had an obligation as a human being to help them (17+ and counting)

Don't let JP off the hook cause he built a "great" program. Seems pretty clear what he was willing to do to protect his kingdom. You either think he made the right call, or he did not. Pretty simple

The leaders at Penn state failed, and nothing will change that. They should all feel some serious shame and my guess is they do not. Wanna bet they feel like victims?

As for the eyewitness, I hope he finds a way to come to terms with the path he chose, but has failed as a man in my book.

"Must protect the house!!!!!" Crap, that didn't work! Well, for nine years it did. Ya, back in the good ol days, we transfer'd ya to another school or parish, so you could continue your "play'n around" with other little boys! . Those days are long gone. Shame on those in charge, Joe was in charge! Time to suffer the consequences dude!!!!!

Not liking Jon Stewart (and I do not like the guy) has nothing to do with disliking the message he presented in the video. I posted it because my daughter forwarded it to me and I agreed with his message.

Allow me to clarify my previous comment; I think Jon Stewart is an idiot and I detest what he stands for, therefore I did not bother to view the video. Yes, he is a comedian and an "entertainer" of sorts but he has created this following of people who somehow believe every word he speaks is the truth and subscribe to his ideals. Now, to give the benefit of the doubt, I watched the video and for once, what he says made sense.
