Good. This has got to be the most bizare, disgusting and cowardly thing I've ever heard of. And for these people of this stature and position to look away is beyond forgivable.

Sad....

How did the kid end up in the shower in the first place? Whose kid was this?

Sandusky started the nonprofit Second Mile organization to work with at-risk children in 1977.

I can't imagine how any answer to this question could matter. However, the story of how Sandusky got access to kids is discussed in the indictment.

Its what needed to be done

Sandusky founded and ran a nonprofit organization, The Second Mile, to help troubled boys.

Not really. It's been under investigation since 1998.

Look up Ray Gricar.

I can't remember the saying but it goes something like this : absolute power corrupts absolutely something to that effect. The whole issue was a house of cards and ready to fall. you can't cover it all up and its what they tried to do so Fck em.
I feel bad first and foremost for the victims and I feel bad for the school and the young men who bought into the football program the university the students and the alumni. But when you lay down with dogs you get fleas..thats the way it flushes

Oh and now the idiot students are rioting? really what does that say about our youth at Penn state. \ These people are delusional

There are a million ways in which it could matter. I was simply curious; had not read any of the reports in full. I was not asking in an accusatory way nor was I trying to belittle the events.

As for my post in a different thread regarding this matter.....This has got to be one of dumbest student bodies in the country???...You got to be kidding me. I guess its only a 1000 some kids semi-protesting.....but seriously:(

And this is a perfect example of that.

Being fired is not nearly enough, the police should be at the door step of everyone involved.

What would you do if your kid went to that school and you saw them on the news rioting?

My daughter is finishing up at MD, she loves her school, Terps football and goes to all the games but she knows right from wrong.

Sad to see Joe Pa sent out that way but you knew it was coming.

Have never been a PSU fan but have always admired Joe Pa and his accomplishments over the years and the way he has run a program

With that said I am still in shock he did not do more than he did when this all came about YEARS AGO and the entire PSU Administration

What is sad is the 10 yo that was sodomized and the 8 other kids that will be f'd up for who knows how long. He put football before those kids. looking the other way when it comes to the welfare of kids rather than football, wtf ;?

Theirs lots of talk about more charges being brought. What ever money Joe Pa and the football team raised for the school is going to go right out the window. Their will be hundreds of millions of dollars in law suits against the school and certain personal involved.

Paterno should be arrested. How many more kids were abused by him not doing anything? He had a direct eye witness come to him. The worst kind of crime.
