Default Rant!

Just paid someone $363 to come out and repair my natural gas heat. Tech says it needs a new board. He's got one on the truck. Problem fixed. NOW, as I sit here watching bill dance saltwater reruns I notice it's a bit chilly. So I run to the thermostat to bump the temp up and what do I see? NOTHING! No lights, no numbers! Just a blank flipping screen! Tried resetting all switches possible and still get nothing. Here goes to another cold flipping night! Who's the tht hvac guru who might be able to steer me in the right direction before I blow my top tomOrrow at the repairman?

Not an HVAC guru but it's 72.9 outside my house right now and there is a house across the street for sale.

Sorry but that all i've got. Let me know if you want the realtor's number.

some hvac folks put in thermostat's that require a battery. Check and make sure your battery didn't die. Pop the cover off and there it is.

Check the fuse on the new control board that was just installed. Probably Blown. Usually its a 3 or 5amp automotive type.
What was the original issue with the heater?
