Default Tebow, give him a chance!

The same thing happened last year. He came in provided a spark without the opposition gameplanning for him and played well enough to get the soapbox Tebow supporters riled up. Denver is handcuffed by the situation. Orton is not playing well and really has never been a bad qb but is not a great qb, that fuels things. My personal opinion is Tebow should just get the starting job and show everyone what he can do and not do in the NFL when teams gameplan against him after he builds some more track record. I don't think he will ever be a legit NFL qb let alone a top one. Intangibles can only take you so far IMO, and a college carreer is just that college. No matter how dominant. There have been more than a couple dominant college qb's that never see the green on the NFL field, or end up out of the league. I say just let it play out with Tebow, Orton's gone at the end of the year anyway. Should have never drafted him in the first round they let the former coach create this problem. Belicek guys seem to shoot themselves in the foot when they leave NE.

I am a Tebow fan and want to see him succeed in the NFL but it seems the "experts" say he can not as a QB.
Saw the end of game yesterday and there is a spark with the team when he comes in, kid is a born leader and winner but we all know his running will get him on the DL in the NFL in a hurry. Look a Vick, Cunningham, etc it just will not work

I do think he is smart enough and disciplined enough to work on his game and to me he would fit into a John Fox offense which is not too flashy and kind of a blue collar offense

Time will tell but looks like they will use him some this year and see what happens when he becomes an everyday player and that spark is gone and it just becomes business at that point and not a game

There are way bigger problems with Denver than a qb can fix. Orton hasn't done a bad job, people just look at Tebow as some kind of god (ironic). Strong kid, but as stated above can put the team on his shoulders, he'd be dead in a month: at least on the DL.

I look at the intangibles... the subjective components. My observations of traditional QB's vs. what Tebow is... most QB's are self willed tethered by arrogance, Tebow is strong willed wrapped in a paradox of humility. Does it make him a better football player? well maybe not today or tomorrow, but yes ... absolutely.

...just sayin'

Hard work is never easy

It was the same way at UF.. The crowd would go crazy when he entered the game as a freshman. Chris Leak was sucking wind at the time, Tebow should have taken the starting role from Leak a number of times but they would rarely pull him.

Im not a fan of his as a player, but definately a good person. I dont think he will make it as a QB,as a good one anyway. At this point do I say give him a chance??? Absolutely. The team SUCKS with Orton,John Fox is on a 3rd year program to make the team something. He cant go wrong(right now) with letting Tebow get snaps. I mean,Jesus, yall drafted him in the 1st round to sit the bench?? Bad call. If nothing else he will get fans into the team again. But again,I dont think hes a QB,Fullback,Tightendish??

The kid is a hell of an athlete, they have no shot at play-offs so let him pay his dues and move forward with him.

I can't help but want to see Tebow play...you can tell he loves to compete.

And he also really has the ability to get the tean energized.

Good for him.
And the team.

...a rising tide lifts all ships...maybe the only thing McDufus did right was draft Tebow and
maybe his indominatable spirit/effort will rub off on some of the marginal leftovers of the
Mcdufus experiment gone terribly wrong...

The Dolphins are also honoring the 2008 Florida National Championship football team that day. Should be interesting.
