We are in the area classified as 40 right now. Wind isn't bad but we have been getting pouring rain for the last 3 hours or so. Funny thing, we received a downpour yesterday and already have a tree down our inlet. It was uprooted because of the wet ground.

You should be getting rain about now.

I have one tall maple I am most concerned with near the house when the ground is soaked and the wind is high.

Hoping for the best for everyone.

No rain yet in Savage.

One other thing, the two lowest gas prices around are a Royal Farm (just north of I 95) store and a Wawa (just south of I 95) on Rt 152.

Going to work yesterday the price was $3.31 at both. Went back to get gas in all my cans and truck and the price jumped to $3.39.

Still not a bad price considering the other stations are $3.49 up toward Fallston / Bel Air but an 8 cent jump?

Just glad they had some. It was very crowed and everyone was polite even though the pumps were slower then ever causing lines.

Counting our blessings.

Some gas stations out of gas here - other than that just rain so far - Good Luck to all - hoping it will burn itself out before it gets here - but TV weather people say no chance of that....

Lost power for 16 hours +/-.
At the house only small limbs and leaves were down.
There are several roads closed with trees down and red lights are out.

No reel big deal here because the storm stayed off shore and the most forceful part of a hurricane is the NE side of the storm, according to the "weather people" today.

We were on the west side of Irene as it past the Chesapeake Bay area.
The reports were the winds actually blew the water out of the bay.

Isabel past to the west of the Chesapeake and that is why the surge (plus the tides) were so high.

We were lucky this time.

Power went out Sat afternoon, still out, Internet (Comcast) went out Sunday AM.

No damage at my place but tons of trees laying over powerlines in my area. Working from an office in VA today since I actually needed to get some stuff done.

I don't expect much improvement in my area for a couple of days since they haven't even got to trees laying across roads that support a big part of the county.
