My family loves shark week. We'll be watching it all week. I have always been hugely fascinated by sharks. I'm always in awe when you saltwater guys post pics of sharks you see in the wild. I can only imagine what that must be like.

i love shark week. watch it every year. but some of the commentary pisses me off. last night when watching the sharks off massachusets they lead you to believe there is no historical president of whites in the atlantic and they dont know why the numbers are up and they are close to shore. to me its easy, their food source (seals) have been protected for years, the sharks have been protected for years. the protection programs works so now theres more sharks inshore near their food. they way they portray it like now its a crisis for beach goers just doesnt make sense to me

I love how that guy on the paddle board kept pissing off the White near the shore. On little tip of the fluke and your chum.

remember it is a TV show at the end of the day. They have to add a bit of drama one way or another

The guy in the paddle board was nuts , I don't think I have the balls to do that.

You are right. Disappointed, thought there would be new footage.

Did anyone see the footage of the kid they couldnt get his leg outta the sharks mouth so they picked the shark and him outta the water and took them up to the beach, then they still couldnt get the shark off his leg so they were ready to transport both of them to the hospitol. That is crazy!
