That's right a complex in north palm beach county is tired of having dog chitt not being picked up by owners, the answer, a $200.00 DNA test administered to every pup that lives in the condo. What a concept, a DNA Doody test, the alleged offenders 'poop' would be sent to a lab and tested whereupon the offenders owner may receive a large fine.
Must really be a poopy place to live. A more cost effective solution would be to have the condo board examine the 'poop' by a sniff test to determine ownership of the offending pup's poop.

Sounds strange at first, but there's that group of self-indulgent people among us that drive the limit in the passing lane, don't move their grocery carts while blocking aisles, and don't think that their dog's poop needs to be picked up...at least by THEM. ("...let the hireds do it".)
Very unique and creative way of enforcing an important policy when the members', "select few jerks", can't police themselves.
I support it..........assuming that more than a few of the HOA are creating the problem.

I advocate taste testing the dog logs by the dbags!
Would it be so difficult to set aside a "dog poopy zone" somewhere and have it picked up once or twice a day by the maint. staff or a professional poop scooping service?
DNA testing... good grief!

i love the people who drive priuses and think they are green then go on to pick up dog shit which is a natural fertilizer and good with a plastic bag. i shovel it up and throw it by my royal palms every once in a while but rarely. and i got three shit factories for dogs (85lb weimareiner , 110lb lab and 65 lb pitbull) guess thats why i got one of the few estate lots in my neighborhood.

Well, it's houses jammed on postage stamp lots and town homes with about 20 sq ft of grass (if that much) so they don't really have a lot of room to set up "poopy zones". They do have some open spaces but you can exactly tell Fido to pinch it off until you get there. They want to swab the dogs and then submit the swabs for DNA profiling. When the have an offense, they can test to find the owner of the dog and levy the appropriate fine.
Considering the confines of the development, it seems reasonable to me. Some people think their chit don't stink and apparently they think the same of their dog's chit.

If someone doesn't like their condo or HOA, move or get on the board.

Personally I wish they would bring to my town! I'm sick and tired of my neighbors dogs shitting on my lawn and just leaving it. How hard is it to pick up after your pooch?

Those piles are puppy play.
I have a 116 pound boxer who leaves that after the first dump in the morning. It's followed up by the second a few minutes later.
My landscapers really do hate me but I give them a lot of work.

Maybe Obama can tax our dog chit now
BTW: I do clean after my pup, Just think it's funny how mad people get.

What do you do if you test all the dog's DNA in the complex and find out the offending poop doesn't belong to any of them......it actually belongs to the neighbors next to the complex?
