Default Who here is afraid of snakes?

If you are, don't watch the following video.

Cleaning the Cobra pit

If I looked around and saw 10 cobras reared up with hoods flared in my general direction I'd be crying for my mommy...

I watched the video. After the heart attack I suffered midway through the video, waking up at the hospital after open heart surgery, months of recovery ...... I can go home and wash my soiled underwear.

Excellent video! I'm gonna watch it again.

he'll be a statistic one day. Just like Steve Irwin. You do that kind of stuff long enough and sooner or later, you will become another statistic.

Those cobras are obviously used to not only being around humans, but being handled a lot. Only one of them got remotely aggressive and even it didn't really make an effort to strike. I suspect that their attitude is more one of "hurry up and finish sweeping or we will bite your ass" With that said, I would NOT want to try that with a pit full of more aggressive snakes like black mambas or water moccasins.

Uhh, hell yeah I am afraid of snakes, and that fool was crazy! I had a Diamondback Rattler crawl across the foot of my bed when I was sleeping one night when I was 9 years old, scared the chit out of me, never liked snakes since. Uncle and friends came over and fought it and killed it with a shovel and a yard hoe. It put up a good damn fight!

Its one of those jobs where they post the vacancy before its even filled. Or better yet--they run a permanent add. Kind of a creative way to lower unemployment numbers. HMMMMmmmm? Got me thinking--maybe we need some viper, tiger and pit bull pits set up so that we can........

Well its an idea--I didn't say it was good idea.

After spending a couple years in central and south america I am definitly warry of snakes but not nearly as bad as a roomy of mine who had a dead boa placed on his stomach while he was asleep. We could hear the scream from the building next door.
Well, the houseboy thought it was a funny trick.......

My best friend Steve (6'3" @ 185lbs - defensive tight end in college) I could lead him into a burning barn with a snake in my hands. But there was hell for me to pay when he got out.

*I miss you buddy!

Me, I don't see what all the fuse is about snakes. Then again, I won't be signing up for that job anytime soon.
