Yeah, it's definatly worth $6 a gallon. Someone has to get rich off of it, might as well be the rich.

The station I use which has the lowest prices went from $3.71 to $3.85 since Saturday. All others around us are $3.89.

I stopped for gas this morning it was $3.99 and I had to throw a couple gallons in the wifes car after work and the same station went up to $4.29. It was bad enough I couldn't fill my tank with $100.

Gas prices as per Gas Buddy in New York:
http://www.newyorkstategasprices.com/index.aspx
And across the border:
http://www.ontariogasprices.com/Brockville/index.aspx
And multiply that bt 3.78 to get a per gallon cost

I am just not understanding the rise in price. . .

There is tons of drilling in Iraq, going full bore right now, US, China, Canada and their hitting oil, why hasn't the market been "flooded"?

This past quarter, gas companies had a 60% increase in profits. Someone might be buying a bigger yacht soon. Plus the dollar hasnt been this low in a while.

I heard on FNC that gas consumption is at the lowest level in a while but profits are at an all time high.

WTF?
