Default Portable jump starters

Does any one have advice on the portable jump starter units? What amp do you need to work well? Do the 12 volt plugs work for a decent amount of time?

Napa makes some good ones. 660 cca
You can get the biggest one from walmart and you'll be fine. I used a wal-mart on the truck for 4 year. Never had one minuet of problem with it.
Stay at least over 500 cca.

I have this one It's been fine for starting the truck and the boat so far and it's been recharged several times and still seems to hold a good charge. A mechanic recommended the jump n carry brand but they quite a bit more expensive. It would be good if you were ever going to be starting heavy equip or large vehicles.
