Default What's the "NORMAL" length of sunglass frames?

Temple Length : 130mm

Is there such a thing as "normal" length for the part that attaches to the ear? My ears seem to be farther back than most glasses, so what's normal?

Also, does a measurement mean from the frame to where the curve starts?

Get glasses with the straight legs and no hook to them, that will help them fit better. I switched to these type nad it helped a lot on comfort.

I've had a few pairs of that kind, Ryan, but either they didn't fit tight enough and slipped down, or were so tight that it became uncomfortable after awhile. I'd prefer something that holds onto the ears.

Default Glasses

Yes, Ray Ban used to offer two sizes in a "cable wrap" that went halfway around the ear. Do not know whether that is still available. You might check a good optical shop.

Can some of you just measure from the frame back to where the bend starts and let me know what you find?

My el-cheapo reading glasses are around 100-110mm, so is that some sort of standard length?
